Hyderabad: Officials plans to keep ORR green

Principal secretary, municipal administration, Arvind Kumar met with Outer Ring Road operations and maintenance contractors and asked them to take steps to increase greenery. He asked them to procure hedge-cutting machines and hire more staff if necessary to ensure increased green cover on both sides of the ORR. He said cleanliness and beautification should be at par with the airport.
Stating that he would conduct inspections, Mr Kumar said sweeping of the carriageway, cleaning of right of way, including maintenance of medians should be done in a scientific manner.
