5 Arrested in a gang rape case in Siddipet district

Siddipet : Siddipet Police claimed to have solved the gang rape case of a 16-year-old girl, a native of Rayavaram in Jagadevpur mandal, with the arrest of five persons. The prime accused who was the friend to the girl took her to an isolated place where he and his friends sexually assaulted her for over 12 hours. Later, they dumped the girl on the road and fled away.The incident has sent shockwaves among the people in Rayavaram of Siddipet.
However, the parents of the girl found her on the road and shifted her to a hospital where she disclosed the matter. Based on the complaint lodged by her parents, the police registered a case and arrested the accused. A search was on for another accused who went absconding.
