Average of 10 heat stroke cases recorded every day in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Atleast 10 heat stroke cases are being reported in government hospitals everyday in Hyderabad. As temperature soaring in the state, the cases of heatstroke have been on rise with the people getting admitted in the hospitals. It is learned that the state run Gandhi Hospital and Osmania General Hospital were reported 10 heat stroke cases daily while the private hospitals reported atleast 4 cases everyday. According to Dr Sudarshan Reddy, General Physician at Continental Hospitals, one or two cases of heat illness have been reporting everyday. "Most of the patients were suffering from headache, dehydration and high fever," the doctor said.
